RULE 2-DONT LIVE IN THE PAST;-Another important rule of winning the game of life is not to live in one's past.Either past successes or past failures.Your past is your past ,it has gone,it has nothing new to offer.It is just there to distract you from winning the game of life.The only thing you are permitted to do,is to learn from it and move on.Living in the past will make you continue to live an unfulfilled life as you wont want to take a decision that will propel a glorious future "The past cant be changed,the future is yet in your power" HUGH WHITE asserts. Dont allow your past to define your future,that will be the greatest mistake you would have made.You have to forget it and move on if you plan to win.Many renowned people today had every reason to dwell in their past:Some were raped by their fathers,some were disowned,some became dropout because of their father's actions etc.but they observed if they continue to carry the cross of their past all around,they wont get to their destination and the more life will become miserable.Do not see your past as a stumbling block but see it as a stepping stone to your desired future.Dont be discouraged,depressed,hopeless or frustrated by the events of the past.If you do,you will lose the game.Dont forget:You are determined to win.Dont behave as if your past is more important than your present by giving it too much time.If you do,it will keep you trapped in days gone by and steal your enjoyment of the present moment and your hope for the future. You might have had bad relationships in the past,that doesnt mean you should treat your present relationship with that experience.The fact that your parents were so harsh on you,doesnt mean your children must suffer from your upbringing,The fact that your foster parents were devilish in nature doesnt mean you should treat your surbodinate at work with the same mentality.Your past is gone for good.
