6.MOUTH(3functions)*(i)Instrument of Communication:A great and exemplary leader must be a good communicator.He must be able to use the words of his mouth to impact generation,build nations,improve systems and also give hope to hopeless situations.He must be able to sincerely and constructively defend his actions.A great leader must not just open his mouth to say something,He must open his mouth because he has something meaningful to say.The words that come out of a man's mouth is powerful so he must be careful and watchful of what he says.Some leaders built nations with their words.Barack Obama 5 minutes speech "Yes We Can",Nelson Mandela,Martin Luther King"I have a dream",Wiston Churchill, can never be forgotten because of the words they spoke while some destroyed Nation with the same words. A great leader must be able to speak Victory in time of defeat.He must have the ability to encourage the broken-hearted and also strenghten the weak,He should also be able to reprimand defaulters.A great leader will not denigrate his surbodinate and he will speak the truth no matter the intimidation or persecution.A leader must be able to pass instruction,information,decision and even correction in a well-detailed manner without lording it over his people.A great and exemplary leader must be a mediator too.He must be able to settle discord with his words without complicating issues.Communication is a vital key in leadership.Your confession will determine your position.You cant be blabbing as a leader and still asking why people are not following you.If you dont communicate inspiration and motivation putting into consideration the right channels of communication,you can never become a great and exemplary leader.Dont be loquacious,Build your world with your words.Have a nice Day.
