Lets continue ds series HOW TO LOOK BEYOND OUR CHALLENGES 3.Dont give room for pity:When a predicament befalls a man,its a normal trend for the world to sympathise with you,they cry for you,shout etc but you have to disallow that from going to you sub-conscious mind because that makes you feel sorrowful.The people in the world are so myopic that they won't know its a blessing in disguise,A woman, Fanny cosby(by name) is considered to be the most important writer of Gospel songs that America has ever produced.When she was 6wks old,she caught a cold,&her eyes became slightly inflammed.Her doctor wasnt around and a man who posed as a doctor gave her a wrong medication.Within a few days,she went blind.Fanny was never bitter.Fanny wasnt given to self pity either.one time a preacher said "i think its a great pity that the master didnt give you sight when he showered you so many other gifts upon you"To this she replied "Do you know that if at birth i had been able to make one petition,it would have been that i should be born blind" why? asked by the clergyman "Because when i get to heaven the first face that shall ever gladden my sight will be that of my savior"wao!what a great woman.she didnt allow the man's pity to demoralise her.folks,Be like fanny too,some people are pitying you just to mock you.When a child falls down,he doesnt cry(mostimess)until someone shouts or pitys him because it passes another message into his mind that makes him feel he fell down beyond measure.IF YOU ALLOW PITY,U MIGHT FALL INTO A DEEP PIT.Have a nice day
