2.MIND(2functions)*(ii)Seat of Creativity:- A Great Leader is a creative leader.Creativity according to the dictionary, is the ability to use your imagination or original ideas to produce new one etc.A leader should be able to use what is in his disposal to create an innovation that will attract people to him no matter how infinitesimal it might be.He must be able to meticulously package an idea into a product for the consumption of the world.Creativity can improve a person's quality of life.As a creative leader,you must be able to see possibility in every impossibility,sense in every nonsense and infinite in infinitesimal.Creativity requires a willingness to look stupid.It means getting out on a limb-knowing that the limb often breaks!Creative people know these things and still keep searching for new ideas.Creativity is being able to see what everybody else has seen and think what nobody else has thought so that you can do what nobody else has done.it lies along the line of invention,where you break new ground.Other times it is doing an old thing in a new way.This is the story of a pastor called Chris Ajayi who was called to come and christen a child in a place that will take him hours before he gets there.Unfortunately,the father of the new child kept on calling him to come fast as he plans to return to Afghanistan that day.He became confused.So someone advised if he can travel by ship,that the journey takes 7minutes by ship.He concured.That 7minutes journey gave birth to his maritime company in Sri-lanka,USA.Creativity makes your name ring bell even in places you have not gotten to.It tells generations about you even when you are no more.What could be more fascinating than this?I havent met Henry Ford,John Maxwell,Bill Gates,Leonardo Da Vinci,Thomas Edison etc but because they were creative in there fields,they became an exemplary leader that generations unborn will come to know and talk about them.Maya Angelou that passed on some few days ago(#RIP) said "You cant use up creativity.The more you use,the more you have.Rita Mac Brown asserts:Creativity comes from trust.Trust your instincts.and never hope more than you work.
